About NOBLE

Since 1976, The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) has served as the conscience of law enforcement by being committed to justice by action. NOBLE represents members internationally, who are primarily African-American chief executive officers of law enforcement agencies at federal, state, county, and municipal levels, other law enforcement administrators, and criminal justice practitioners. For more information, visit www.noblenational.org.

NOBLE Maryland is one of 60 chapters of the national organization which include members in Montreal Canada, the Caribbean and South Africa. Our primary mission is to support the efforts of our national organization, with an emphasis on building bridges in communities throughout Maryland with law enforcement. Members are command officers (current/retired) from police agencies around the state. We believe that building strong relationships with the communities we serve, local governments, private businesses, social and civic organizations will enable us all to have a prosperous future in Maryland.
